What is HitandRoll? HitandRoll is an online curling event management platform designed for curling clubs and bonspiel/event/league organizers. Our site enables you to create teams, schedule events, and manage live scoring, complete with an automated leaderboard. For organizations hosting multiple events or leagues, HitandRoll offers dedicated sections to display only the events you manage. Additionally, our iPhone app allows players and fans to follow along in real time. Does HitandRoll host physical events? No, HitandRoll does not host physical events. Instead, we provide an online platform for organizations to showcase their events, ensuring players and fans can track progress in real time. Who can use HitandRoll ? HitandRoll is in the process of expanding access to our platform. Our goal is to fully automate all aspects of event and league management. Currently, some processes are manually handled on our end resulting in us limiting access, but we strive to host as many events as possible. Will you host my event/league/series? Hosting your event depends on whether it aligns with our existing configurations. Please reach out to us via email, and we will assess how we can support your event. How much does HitandRoll cost? HitandRoll was developed as a passion project, driven by the desire for an online solution to track local junior curling events. Our goal is to expand this service at no cost, allowing other curlers (at all levels) and their families and fans to enjoy a simliar experience. We kindly request that if you use HitandRoll, you send us feedback after your event, sharing what worked well and what could be improved. A simple thank-you is also appreciated. Since the site is free, what happens if it goes down? HitandRoll has not experienced any significant failures during the events we have hosted. Should an issue arise, we will work diligently to resolve it promptly to minimize any impact on your event. While we are confident in our platform's reliability, we cannot guarantee that issues will not occur. |
